Entrepreneurs get plenty of help starting a business and very little help running the complex, regulation-heavy administrative side of it, including the often-overlooked, high-stakes work of properly closing one down.
Solution
Starcycle positions itself as "your AI co-founder": an AI-driven platform that guides small-business owners through complex administrative workflows end-to-end, pairing automated guidance with human-in-the-loop support, including LLC dissolution, deregistration, and compliance filings when winding a business down.
Field Validation
Live, publicly available product. Partnered with Warp on employee-management workflows for businesses in wind-down, and hosted a business-shutdown workshop with NYU Tandon.
Team
Co-founded by CEO Jaclyn Siu (previously founder of Wearhou) and CTO Luke Schantz (IBM Developer Ecosystem / Red Hat background).
